A woman visiting one of the Disney parks reported via TikTok that she was notified by the administration of the location that clothing was used, which is considered “inappropriate” according to company policies.

In a video that has been viewed more than 4 million times, 20-year-old teen Jordyn Graime said she was marked while walking at Disney World in Orlando, Florida, in a blue top showing her back. “I guess Disney doesn’t like their backs,” it says in the title of the video.

But the New Jersey resident said he was given a free themed t-shirt to enter the park.

The video was posted on the young woman’s profile in July last year, but has recently found new echoes. Despite the “happy ending”, Jordyn’s case has reignited a debate over Disney’s policies regarding womenswear.

One commenter said, “They say it’s not suitable for children. No? They don’t care. They just want to go for a ride and talk to the characters.”

“As a married mother of three, I have no problem with this shirt,” another woman said.

Jordyn’s supporters also pointed out that the young woman’s outfit was suitable for Florida’s hot and humid climate.

“You’re acting like it wasn’t 5,000 degrees at Disney in August,” said one internet user.

However, not everyone agreed with the student’s claim. Some TikTok users claimed that “children don’t need to see everything”, referring to the young woman’s racy look.

Others argued that the company’s policy also values the safety of park-goers, as overly baggy clothing can be dangerous when used at some attractions.

Disney’s guidelines state that “the company reserves the right to refuse entry or remove anyone from the park who wears clothing that it deems inappropriate or that could affect the experience of other guests.” Park has yet to comment on Jordyn’s case.
