A 300-pound calf made a mess in a rural town in the US state of Virginia. The animal, which was on its way to be sold on a farm, jumped from a moving truck on December 2 and went to a health clinic in the city of Orange at a speed of about 200 meters.
Two cowboys were called to rescue the cattle. With the help of a dog named Bob, Timmy Lamb and Sam Crawford arrived on the scene and tried to surround the animal. The calf got scared and entered the health facility.
“The glass ran through the door as if nothing had happened,” Timmy said, noting that the animal may not have seen the glass. “Then we went in and everyone was screaming and trying to get out of there.” The report was given to local news site The Orange County Review.
The cowboys evacuated the building and cornered the animal in a room. Then they managed to grab it safely with a lasso.
According to the news portal, no one was injured, including the cattle who were removed from the clinic and tied to a pole until they were returned to their owners.
via Facebook, Timmy He shared recordings of the rescue and commented, “If you don’t grab a calf from a doctor’s office, you’re not a cowboy.” A user joked with a photo of the dog looking like it was barking at cattle. “It looks like Bob is the only one working today,” he wrote.
