The disappearance of a British national in Kenya mobilized a police task force and led the young man’s father to travel from the UK to the African continent to find him. The boy disappeared four days later on December 6, but the young man was found drinking in a bar, supposedly under the influence of drugs.

The Kenya Criminal Investigation Directorate said on Twitter that 22-year-old Nelson Newbery was last seen walking out to buy a SIM card for his phone at a shopping mall in Kenya’s capital.

“Since then, the young man has been reunited with his father, who had recently arrived from England.” He was then taken to the hospital for medical attention. In one of the images that emerged after the reunion, it is seen that the young man was injured in his eye, but the reasons were not explained.

Living in Kenya since June, Nelson moved to Nairobi to work for the company as a director of operations. ChaiT AnnoyedAccording to his LinkedIn profile.
