Man with ‘shark tooth’ arrested for getting pregnant as a sex slave

A man with sharp, shark-like teeth has been accused by a US court of holding a pregnant woman captive for three weeks as a sex slave.

The sheriff said he was suspected of kidnapping a 20-year-old woman, locking her in an old house, and threatening to bite and tear her throat with her sharp teeth until she died, the sheriff said. (US), Wednesday (14).

Authorities allege that the culprit was involved in human trafficking, as the pregnant woman would have been “sold” to partners.

Barajas offers a bold look with body modifications ranging from facial tattoos to fangs.

He was arrested after the victim received emergency treatment on December 8 at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan, Sheriff Chris Swanson told the Detroit News.

The woman reported that she had been stranded in an old, dilapidated home since Barajas saw her walking around on Thanksgiving Day, 24 November.

The suspect offered food and shelter, and the pregnant woman accepted. As soon as she arrived at the property, she attacked him and locked him in a room, tied him up. She reported that she was sexually abused.

“That man took this opportunity not only to sexually assault the victim, but also to pull people in and trade it,” the sheriff said.

The pregnant woman tried to run away from home twice. However, the windows of the property were sealed with nails.

According to Swanson, in his deposition he said that Barajas forced him to write a letter calling him “father” to always obey him and that he would be brutally punished if he refused to obey an order.

“He threatened to bite his neck and slit his throat if he didn’t do everything he said,” the sheriff said. “That man is a monster.”

According to the court case, bail was set at US$35,000 (approximately R$186,000 at current prices).
