Portuguese police say Brazil expected to kill ex-boyfriend and police drink beer

Leandro Cassimiro, a 38-year-old Brazilian, has been accused by the Portuguese Public Ministry of killing his 53-year-old ex-wife, Lucília Brandão, in Arcos de Valdevez. According to the complaint, he strangled her in March, called the police and waited for a beer.

Ending was motivation. The suspicion is that the Brazilian decided to kill his ex when he found out that he was dating someone else after their marriage ended.

Cassimiro tried to snatch the couple together with two knives, but Lucília was alone, her clothes dangling.

According to the Portuguese newspaper Correio da Manhã, Leandro and Lucília have been married for over ten years and have three children.
