The young man’s name is Isah Auwal-Barde and spoke of the help his creation could do in his society, hard hit by violence.

Enthusiastic about her achievement, Auwal-Barde said in an interview with local Kano media that she is “confident that technology can help restore peace to Nigeria.”

What the young Nigerian said about his robot

The teenager commented on how he developed his robot. She said he’s powered by “a remote-controlled robotic exoskeleton.”

The exoskeleton remote control is a robot control system, performed by a person, who he manages it by performing movements of parts of his own body.

“It took me two years to invent the robot using local materials like copper wire.as well as metal, among others, and the robot is powered by electricity,” Auwal-Barde said.

The young man assured that he grew up with a passion for creativity, graduating from Government Secondary School (GSS), Kano state, in 2021.

I want to be a robotics engineer so I can produce robots that can be used for copingamong other things, the problems of my country,” he said.

Auwal-Barde has seven science credits from the West African Examinations Council (WAEC). Everything indicates that he has a more than positive future, where all he has to do is grow.

In addition to institutions, the adolescent is thereHe thanked his father for supporting his project and adds that he hopes to obtain a scholarship that will allow him to continue his studies.

The future of the young Nigerian

“Now I want to get a scholarship to continue my studies abroad and fulfill my dream of becoming a robotics engineer,” he said.

The teenager further claimed that his exploits in robotic engineering attracted a delegation from the National Center for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (NCAIR) for him to visit.

This delegation, surprised by Auwal’s resources and knowledge, he promised to get him admitted to one of the Nigerian universities study computer engineering.

The young man’s father said that “Whenever our electricity or our electronic devices had a breakdown, he was the one to fix it. He was looking for a way to fix it.”

what is robotics

This science and technology consists of artificially recreating automated machines capable of performing tasks that could be performed, for example, by a human being.

Robotic technology is used in many fields. In the toilet, for example, with the use of robotic assisted surgery in medicine which allowed for complex surgeries with great precision.

Also in the home appliance industry with smart small appliances. For instance, the famous vacuum cleaners programmed to clean

Robotics has advanced in recent times thanks to the increase and collection of data, the use of sensors and other types of connected devices, which allow increasingly complex and functional robots to have greater knowledge of their environment.

Also, artificial intelligence allows robots to perform tasks autonomously and speed up production processes by improving them.
