Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky today invited Russian President Vladimir Putin to a “two-way fight” in a ring. The statement was given to the French publisher LCI.
If a man, a real man, wants to send someone a message, he does it himself, without resorting to the services of an intermediary, as if he wanted to hit him. If I had such a message to send to Putin, I would do it myself.

The politician laughed, stating that he would be ready for a fight with Putin that could “start tomorrow” and that it would be “President Putin’s last summit”. The Ukrainian said he was “always ready” though.
According to the Portuguese newspaper Público, Zelenskiy’s speech came after reading reports about Putin’s alleged ordering of the head of Russia’s Chechnya region, Ramzan Kadyrov, to kill the Ukrainian shortly after the start of the Russian invasion on February 24.
The Ukrainian president also briefly commented on the possibility of the war causing the death of the Russian leader. “When a person dies, all institutions stop.”
Zelensky also declared that Putin is “a man who does not want peace” and “only thinks of his own interests”.
Finally, the Ukrainian leader said that Russia’s threats to use nuclear weapons are a sign of “weakness”, “mental disorder” and “health problems”. “Only patients, certainly patients, can take such a step,” he concluded.
