Russia announced on Monday that many of its warships will participate in exercises with the Chinese navy starting this week. In a statement, the Russian Defense Ministry indicated that the exercises will take place from December 21 to 27 in the East China Sea.

Russia says more than 5 million Ukrainians have arrived in the country since February

More than 5 million Ukrainian refugees arrived in Russia since Februarywhen the Russian military campaign in the neighboring country began, according to official sources, quoted by the TASS news agency.

“According to the latest data, more than 5 million refugees (from Ukraine) have arrived on the territory of Russia, including 721,000 children,” the agency said.

Currently, around 42,000 people are in temporary reception points, while the rest are staying with relatives or have left Russia for third countries.

In a statement, the Russian Defense Ministry said the exercises would take place from December 21 to 27 in the East China Sea and would include joint missile and artillery firing exercises, among others.
