Videos posted on social media show customers frightened by gunfire, in addition to an audible warning directing people to seek shelter immediately.

Bloomington Police Chief Booker Hodges said in an interview with the press that between five and nine people took part in the discussion. The police reached the security camera footage of the store.

During the fight, a person draws his gun and shoots a 19-year-old man. One of the shots grazed a customer’s jacket.

Hodges added that he was shopping at the Mall of America that day with his family. “We had 16 cops at the mall and they decided to do it anyway. I got lost.”

Mall of America was locked for about 1 hour after the incident. A gunfight was recorded at the mall in August, but no one was injured. In October, metal detectors were placed at the entrances of shopping malls.

Receiving 40 million visitors a year, the site boasts more than 500 shops, 19 restaurants, and attractions such as the Nickelodeon Universe indoor theme park and Sea Life Aquarium.
