There are currently 750,000 signatures on the Change.org petition titled “France stop crying”. And it is very likely that by the time this article is finished, dozens or hundreds of other Argentines have contributed their breadcrumbs.

The massive collection of signatures launched by a called user Valentin Gomez arrived hours later more than 200,000 French asked to repeat the final on a site similar to the one used by the Argentine.

“The arbitration was totally sold, there was never a penalty + foul on MBAPPÉ in the 2nd goal!” protested those who asked MesOpinions for signatures for the replay of the Qatar 2022 World Cup final.

The French did well: one day before Christmas they had reached 200,000 virtual signatures.

But this year of the end of football Argentina does not miss anything. In response to the French request, more than half a million world champion internet users invalidated the request with another request. They left the 200,000 blue signatures small.

“France stop cry” (France stops crying), is the title of the Argentine Change.org which collected 750,000 in three days.

“Since we won the World Cup final, the French have not stopped crying, complaining and not accepting that Argentina are world champions. This request is that the French stop crying and accept that Messi is the best in the history of football and has Mbappé as his son”, is the argument supported by all those people.

What are the French media saying?

Just as the request to repeat the final arrived in Argentina, the request “for France to stop crying” resounded in the European country.

football365 published a note entitled: “A petition for the French to stop crying.”

Your article is descriptive, but there is a small caveat in the subheading”The greatest provocation in Argentina”, which reports an “official” French denunciation “for the actions of Emiliano Martínez during the wild celebrations in Buenos Aires”.

“At one point the Aston Villa goalkeeper was seen holding a doll with Mbappé’s face,” completes the text.

French informationinstead, he admits defeat without joking and tries to debase the matter to a change.

In his news on the Argentine petition, he mentions Pierre Maturanajournalist and managing editor of the trade magazine So Foot, who admits: “Let’s extend the stick a little so that the Argentines keep making fun of us”.

“A petition has been launched in Argentina asking ‘France to stop crying’ after their defeat in the World Cup final. It collected more than 705,000 signatures in two days. Pierre Maturana regrets that there is less outrage over the racist insults received by some players of the French national team.”

When the media ask Maturana if 705,000 Argentine signatures are a lot, the journalist replies: “Yes, that’s a lot, but it’s fair game. This request is not ridiculous compared to the one we launched just before to play the final again”.

“France lost badly, but Argentina won badly. No?” He asks the interviewer, to which Maturana replies: “No, I don’t think so. Argentina is in full madness because they won the World Cup, which belongs to them and is in their culture, in their football tradition”.

In keeping with the medium above, the depeché headlined: “Demand for ‘French to stop crying’ surpasses that of playing final again.”

This medium also rightly accepts defeat and understands virtual petition war for what it is: a simple virtual petition war.

“Two petitions were launched after the World Cup final. The first, by the French, for this final to be repeated. The second, from the Argentines, so that “the French stop crying”. The second has already surpassed the first,” says Depeche.

From the medium they state that “the rivalry between France and Argentina will not subside”.

“Argentinians have responded with a new petition asking ‘the French to stop crying’. Again Argentina beats France, given that the petition launched on change.org by the South American country already has 300,000 signatures. Thus surpassing that of France, which had only reached 220,000 signatures this Saturday December 24 at 15:00 ”, admits Depeche.
