Bridgertonthe romantic series of Netflix, will launch its third season, which this time will star Luke Newton and Nicola Coughlan.
The production, created by Chris VanDusenwith a screenplay based on the author’s literary sagas Julia Quinn and adapted together with its director, will be released in 2023.
The streaming platform had already confirmed, in mid-May, what the central romance of the third season will be: that of Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington.
Fans of the strip were enraged by the shocking change, as it upset the order of the writer’s books. The third episode was dedicated to the artist brother Benedict Bridgerton with the title “I give you my heart”.
According to the Spanish specialized site Filmaffinity, the critics Meghan O’Keefe of Decider spoke of the series, calling it “a perfect collision of period fantasy and contemporary romantic angst (…) What makes it a gem is its adoration of the historical romance genre.”
