Heartbreaking: A doctor’s body has appeared in a frozen pool of water

A doctor reported missing on Christmas Eve has been found dead in the least expected place: inside a frozen pool of water. It happened in the context of the fierce winter storm that punishes the United States.

The Doctor Bolek Payan he was released from Henry Ford Allegiance Health Hospital in Jackson, Michigan on December 22. Since that day no one else has seen him. His car was at his residence, which is near the health center, and Payan hasn’t communicated with anyone since he quit his job.

After an intense search of his home with K-9 dogs, drones and on foot, an underwater team found his body in a nearby pond after drilling a series of holes in the surface ice.

The Jackson County Medical Examiner’s Office is currently conducting an autopsy, he said. Blackman Leoni Public Safetythe government organization that shared information about the doctor’s disappearance and the subsequent discovery of his body on Facebook.

“After failing to locate anything on dry land, holes were cut in the ice of a pond on the property yesterday and divers today located Dr. Payan’s body under the ice,” Blackman Leoni said.

“Investigators believe Dr Payan would have died before he was reported missing. due to weather conditions the day he left his residence and the fact that he was in the water,” he added.

Payan was a certified doctor of osteopathic medicine by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, according to his biography with Henry Ford Health. He studied at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and did his psychiatry residency at Henry Ford Allegiance Health.

Payan was, sadly, another victim of the fierce winter storm elliott which has been afflicting much of the United States for days.
