The debates about “bad” movies can be endless. What is a “bad” movie? When does a movie become a complete disaster? Who determines your crush? Questions with many answers but none correct.
To simplify the matter, in determining the 12 worst movies Since 2022 we have resorted to numbers, to infallible numbers.
The year’s most disastrous list consists of films with very low average critics and audience scores on Rotten Tomatoes and Filmaffinity, respectively. The first is a site that collects reviews from critics and the second, a website that ranks movies based on audience votes.
So, without further ado (and in no order from worst to best), let’s review 12 of the worst materials released in 2022.
the year of my graduation
This comedy starring Rebel Wilson was not liked by most critics – on Rotten Tomatoes it has only 24% acceptance.
Its premise, however, is interesting: a woman wakes up from a coma after 20 years and returns to the school where she had been a famous cheerleader as a teenager.

9 bullets
Neither Sam Worthington, figure of Avatar, nor Lena Headey, figure of Game of Thrones, could save this disappointment.
“A burlesque dancer must flee to save a neighbor whose life is threatened by her former lover,” says the sales synopsis for this film which, sadly for those involved, no one knows exists.

After: infinite love
The cinematic universe of Anna Todd’s romance novels continues to expand. And her fourth installment still doesn’t hit the mark.
On Rotten Tomatoes it has no confidence vote. It is, according to the reviews collected on the site, the worst of the four.

Time for me
Some time ago, before its premiere, this comedy made headlines because in one scene one of its characters recommends the other not to go to Buenos Aires. Once on Netflix, it is for disappointing all those who expected much more from it.
With two protagonists of the highest level, such as Mark Wahlberg Y Kevin Hartthe plot closely follows a father who takes advantage of his free time away from his wife and children to meet and hang out with an old friend.

Halloween: the last night
The closing of David Gordon Green’s trilogy could never recover from the good level of the first chapter. He raised the bar too much. Neither the sequel nor this one was strong enough for the franchise to continue on top.
On Filmaffinity, its pitiful 4.6 shows it wasn’t audiences’ favorite slasher in 2022.

immodest
There are no defenders for Impúdica, a thriller about a writer who must call upon her knowledge of crimes to solve her sister’s.
“Tacky” (Variety), “After-dinner romance movie” (The New York Times), “Neither glamorous nor funny” (Den of Geek) were some of the “compliments” he received.

Dangerous Game: The Legacy Murders
In Knives Out style, this film aims, with a large cast, to offer the viewer a mystery to solve. That’s no good. On Rotten Tomatoes it has zero percent approval.
Surprisingly, it has two very familiar faces, those of Jon Voight and Jonathan Rhys Meyers, who have been a bit lost on the radar lately.

Morbio
After endless rounds leading up to the premiere, Morbius finally hit theaters and, as expected, it was a resounding failure. Especially since it’s a Marvel and Sony movie.
Morbius has been the victim of memes, bad reviews, chaotic editing, and can be followed. He also got a second chance in theaters which, like the first, was a flop.

Fortress 2
Bruce Willis and Jesse Metcalfe continue to be father and son in the second part of Fortress, an action film whose premiere went unnoticed last year. It’s the famous sequel that no one asked for.
Curiously, it is certainly one of the last films in Willis’ career, who announced his retirement this year due to an illness he suffers from.

play at home
And yes, another comedy tripping. This time the comedian who couldn’t do anything is Kevin James.
His story (based on true events) is that of New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton, who is responsible for leading his son’s sixth-grade football team.

Pinocchio
After Guillermo Del Toro’s excellent version of Pinocchio arrived on Netflix, the one starring Tom Hanks and produced by Disney is out of the question.
Robert Zemeckis’s is nothing more than a forgettable live action version of the ones the mouse studio has been producing ad nauseam in recent years.

Agents 355
Despite its stellar female cast, international critics didn’t back Agentes 355. It wasn’t enough to bring together Jessica Chastain, Penélope Cruz, Diane Kruger and Lupita Nyong’o on a single screen.
“Frustrating and mundane” (The Guardian), “Insubstantial” (Screendaily), “Fails miserably” (The Playlist), wrote international critics.
