Scioli also met with Brazilian Economy Minister Fernando Haddad on Tuesday. The ambassador himself reported on Twitter that “strategic economic issues for the development of our countries and for achieving economic and financial integration in the short term” were raised at that meeting.
He explained in that network that it is a foreign trade regime that provides “180 days of compensation to increase exports and trade with Brazil, taking care of both countries’ reserves under the local currency system.”
Another issue is linked to an agreement with the National Bank for Economic and Social Development of Brazil, which will proceed with the financing of the “next stages of the Néstor Kirchner gas pipeline”.
