She pretended to be a woman in the networks to kill her brother’s killer

A 38-year-old man killed his brother’s killer. Apparently, Anderson Johan Pineda posed as a woman on social networks to get the attention of Sergio Iván Salazar Díaz. The latter had murdered Pineda’s brother in 2008.

Pineda was on a motorcycle, pulled out a weapon and shot Salazar Díaz, who died instantly. The victim was released earlier after serving 12 years in prison for the murder of Pineda’s brother. The dire situation unfolded in Cúcuta, Colombia and went viral on social media.

The prosecutor highlighted that the attack took place, apparently, for revenge in which the victim allegedly killed Pineda’s brother,” local authorities said. Therefore, one month after the assault, Anderson Johan Pineda was caught and tried as the alleged perpetrator of aggravated murder.

The ex-convict’s relatives assured the prosecutor that Sergio Iván Salazar Díaz would have seen a woman and that Pineda had attracted the victim’s attention with a fake profile. For now, the defendant has not been charged, but he is being held while the investigation is ongoing.

Although Salazar was arrested in flagrante delicto in 2008, after killing Jhonier Leandro Pineda Peñaranda and serving a 12-year prison sentence, since 2019 he had regained his freedom and dedicated himself to working as a bicycle mechanic.

The death threats that Anderson Johan launched against Sergio Iván Salazar did not remain in the air and on the night of December 2 last year he summoned him between 13th Street and 16th Avenue, in the Olga Teresa neighborhood, to shoot him dead .

This was verified by the investigators of the Interinstitutional Homicide Brigade (Brinho) in charge of the investigation and the collection of probative material against the suspect through the videos of the security cameras installed around the crime scene and the testimony of a fountain.

On the night of December 2, the victim left the house to make an appointment with an alleged woman who contacted him through a social network, so when he arrived at 13th street with 16th avenue, Olga Teresa, was attacked with bullets.

According to witnesses, at 20:15, two men riding a motorcycle observed Salazar Díaz and one of them immediately drew a weapon and shot him twice. When he saw him fall to the ground, they fled.
