The actor Nathan chasing horseswho worked on the Oscar-winning film of Kevin Costner “Dances with Wolves” (1990), was arrested by the police in Las Vegas, Nevada, accused of sexually assaulting indigenous youth.

This is indicated by police records, according to which Nathan Lee Chasing His Horse, who calls himself Nathan Chasing Horse, is the leader of a cult known as “The circle”.

The police have identified at least six alleged victims of the actor, dating back to the early 2000s.

Born in Rosebud Reservation in South DakotaHome to the Sicangu Sioux, one of the seven tribes of the Lakota Nation, Chasing Horse – which does not yet have a defense attorney – had earned a reputation among Native American tribes in the United States and Canada as physician who performed healing ceremonies and spiritual encounters.

His home, which according to local media shares with five wivesit was raided by police on Tuesday afternoon following a months-long police investigation that began after receiving a complaint in October.

Chasing Horse is suspected of using his position as a healer to commit a series of abuses.

According to police records, the actor committed the abuses in several statesincluding Montana, South Dakota and Nevada, where Nathan Chasing Horse lived for nearly a decade.

Some of his alleged victims are suspected they were only 13 years old. One of his wives would be given to him as a “gift” when he was 15, while another would become his wife after his sixteenth birthday.

He is also accused of committing sexual assaults and of arrange sexual relations with the victims for other men who would pay for it.

According to police, Chasing Horse, 46, it has a long history. He was banned in 2015 from a reservation in Montana amid allegations of human trafficking.

During his time as an actor, he was best known for his role as a young member of the tribe Sioux smiles a lot in Kevin Costner’s 1990 Academy Award-winning film “Dances with Wolves.”

His arrest is the culmination of a months-long investigation that began after police received a tip in October 2022.
