nico castro He couldn’t get over his amazement when days ago he started work on a house where he was called from to request his services as an exterminator.
The owner of Nick’s extreme pest controlin California, he has been in the pest control business for over two decades, but this has completely upset him.
“I have seen many strange things in my careerbut recently I found something that drove me crazy,” he said.
Castro was called to a house to deal with a woodpecker which was causing damage to the siding by the number of holes it created.
But when he cut through a piece of the wall to begin investigating, he was overcome with amazement to see the waterfall that came out of the bowels of the house.
“They just kept coming and going, non-stop,” Castro told The Dodo, the reference to endless stream of acorns which kept leaving every spot in the house where it passed through the wall.
“Acorns were thought to be only a quarter of the way up the wall. It turned out they were stacked in the attic from the house,” he said.
Castro dug more holes around the house, but the acorns kept coming out, adding about 320 kiloswhich should have been put into eight huge industrial waste bags.
According to Castro, the bird had been storing acorns all over the house, creating many holes that were not in sight.
“He completely destroyed the wood exterior of the house with the holes he drilled and stored acorns all over the siding and trim. That bird was really crazy“said the man.
Despite the damage caused, the property owners were clear with Castro and ordered him to cover up all potholes, apply an animal repelling product and don’t kill the bird.
