Starting from 2023, everyone will be able to travel on Atlantis Events cruises only under one important condition: do not post sexually explicit content on social media.

This is the new policy announced by the gay and LGBT+ cruise company in collaboration with Royal Caribbean, the company responsible for the ship Harmony of the Seas which departed on Saturday for the Caribbean from Fort Lauderdale, in the United States.

The new measure was being considered after media outlets such as OnlyFans and For fans only adult videos recorded inside a cruise ship of the brand.

According to Buzzfeed News, this is an unusual policy for this type of cruise. It is unknown whether Royal Caribbean will also apply this to heterosexual passengers. It must be taken into account that in October of last year it was not in force, so it is new.

No more triple X videos

The goal of the petition is that the icons identifying a cruise related to both brands do not appear in the videos of adult content that can be recorded inside the ship by OnlyFans or Just For Fans personalities who regularly travel on their cruises.

“While we want everyone to have a good time, there are limits, so we ask that you do Be respectful with all guests and our cruise partners,” reads a section of the handbook sent to guests.

Please do not post anything sexually explicit on social media in a public forum or other online space. Any guest posting an explicit, publicly viewable photo or video will be required to leave the vessel without refund”, adds the manual.

The group says the measure is being taken “very seriously” and that there is “a team of volunteers who monitor most of the sites”.

Rich Campbell, founder and CEO of Atlantis, told Buzzfeed News that the policy was included at the request of cruise lines. He, for his part, didn’t find it so strange that they did.

Campbell said that before this measure was taken, when a passenger posted explicit content on the internet and learned about it, they asked him to remove it and the guest usually did so without problems.

The executive director of Atlantis Events said the policy was included at the request of the cruise lines.

In turn, a Royal Caribbean International spokesman told US media that the two companies “have jointly established this policy to protect the safety and privacy of all guests on board.”

Hence the massive social gatherings, nightly dances and performances by famous artists, such as Todrick Hall AND Billy PorterMany of them will remain in the most intimate privacy.
