A video has been released showing Russian forces carrying out a major offensive on the eastern front of Ukraine abandoning about 30 tanks and fleeing from Ukrainian airstrikes in the strategic battle of Bukledar.

On the 12th (local time), Daily Mail released a related video, saying that Russian forces retreated after about 30 tanks belonging to the 155th Separate Guards Marine Brigade of the Russian Pacific Fleet were attacked.

Buhledar, occupied by the Ukrainian army, is a strategic point where the eastern and southern fronts intersect, and fierce fighting continues.

On the 10th, the British Ministry of Defense announced that “Russian forces abandoned at least 30 tanks and fled after the failed attack on Buhledar.”

The Russian Ministry of Defense did not comment on the announcement, but said military operations were carried out in Bakhmut and Bukledar in eastern Ukraine and were successful.

Russian forces made some military gains last month, including taking control of the Soledar Salt Mine in northern Bahmut.

The released video showed Russian soldiers abandoning the tank and fleeing in a hurry after a Russian tank exploded after being attacked by an air attack by a Ukrainian military drone.

The Russian War Channel accused the Russians of showing military incompetence in the new offensive, leaving their tanks too easily exposed to enemy fire.

Russian state TV war correspondent Sergey Mardan reported that “Russian tanks were advancing in formation and were trampled on and lost soldiers and equipment,” adding, “But no one is taking responsibility.”

Criticism of General Rustab Muradov, commander of the Russian Army’s Eastern Group, is also continuing.

Meanwhile, the British Ministry of Defense announced that the number of casualties of the Russian army during the recent war in Ukraine reached 824, the highest since the outbreak of the war, reported by The Hill, a media specializing in the US Congress, on the 12th.

According to the British Ministry of Defense, citing statistics from the Ukrainian General Staff, the number of Russian casualties per day has quadrupled from that in June and July last year. The Russian army suffered 1,140 casualties per day in February of last year, but in the middle of last year it was reduced to 200 per day.

The British Ministry of Defense pointed out that “the increase in Russian casualties is due to lack of training, cooperation and lack of resources”.

Ukraine said last week that Russian casualties exceeded 1,000 in one day and that the total number of casualties since the invasion was more than 133,000.
