The Spanish orioli vincenzo He’s a tiktoker who travels the world telling customs and curiosities of every city he visits. Furthermore, he takes the opportunity to recommend places to stay and tour to his followers.
In his account (@oriolvicente_) posted a video he titled ‘cheapest hotel’. Phone in hand, camera on and a very particular space where he remained in his life of adventures. The accommodation is in Vietnam and the price per night is two euros!
In the video, Oriol can be seen entering the hotel entrance, and tells a Vietnamese tradition: before entering the room you have to leave your shoes at the entrance and wear flip flops.
Thus he arrives at the shared room, with 12 beds (bunk beds) arranged above and below, and closed by a few cloths on all four sides. The other thing that is shared is the bathroom, just one square metre. “The bad thing about the room is that if there are people snoring or making noise, you hear it and it’s a bit annoying,” says Oriol.
“You’ll probably see the worst-designed toilet in history here,” Vicente says of the bathroom. The video is eloquent, as well as being small, when sitting on the toilet the knees collide with the door.
Returning to the room, Oriol wonders in the video: “Who goes to a two euro room? Either you are very poor, or you are very mouse (with an emoji). I think I am both,” he replies.
The video went viral on the platform and has more than 7,200 likes and nearly 240,000 views. And obviously her video generated hundreds of views from users.
“Do you haggle?” ironically comments a follower, to which the tiktoker replies following the joke: “No, this time I threw the house out the window”. “Without fear of success”, “I’ve been worse and for more money”“Where is that building,” are other answers.
“It’s not crazy, the truth is how brave you are,” another user comments, and another says, “I’ve been to a worse one in NYC and it cost me £60.” While another ironically asks: “Where is that building?”
