Staff at the Hemswell Antique Center in Hemswell Cliff, Lincolnshire, England have taken the surprise of their life when the great Hollywood actor made his particular in-store appearance last Friday afternoon.
The Pirates of the Caribbean star, among many other films, has made up his mind go down by helicopter without warning“so that the public would not notice” – they argued from their surroundings -, and to be able to take a relaxed look at what the shop had to offer.
The actor’s surprise visit had been arranged by Pinewood Studios, who are in a relationship of teamwork for props and set elements with business.
Pinewood Studios is known for its involvement in the production of the popular Harry Potter film series and James Bond franchises.
Robert Miller, the owner of Hemswell Antique Centrereputed to be the largest antiquities center in Europe, described Deep as “With your feet on the ground“.
The shop owner also said that staff had been informed that a special guest would be visiting the shop, but they had no idea who it would be.
Miller noted that Depp tried various guitars during his visit and talked about the English guitarist JeffBeck, with whom he had collaborated for his album ’18’, released last year. The two have played together several times over the years.
Johnny Depp has his own band of Hollywood legends, known as the Hollywood Vampires. The band now consists of Depp, Joe Perry, Alice Cooper and Tommy Henriksen.
The Hollywood Vampires formed in 2012 and are about to embark on another tour, starting in June in Europe and their first UK date at the Scarborough Open Air Theater on 5 July.
“Ended buy many very imaginative items— a desk chair, three guitars, paint set, easels, some paintings, posters, all sorts of decorative items for him,” Miller said.
“Also he chose a vase with a skull on it. Guitars of course. He was a really good friend, Jeff Beck’s best friend, and he sat down and played a few tunes on this guitar, I think just for old times’ sake, and then he decided to buy three of the guitars that were on it.”
