The Russian army carried out at least five attacks on Ukrainian train stations in the center and west of the region on Monday (25). According to the Kyiv prosecutor’s office, at least five people were killed and 18 injured in the attack.
Two of the stations, Zhmerynka and Kozyatyn, are in the Vinnytsia region and one in Krasne, on the outskirts of the city of Lviv – the place where thousands of people fled and chosen to temporarily host international diplomatic missions.
Recently, the Russians launched a massive attack on a train station in Kramatorsk in the Donetsk region, leaving more than 50 dead, mostly women, children and the elderly.
Trains were used as the main means of transportation by Ukrainians trying to escape to other countries or regions of Ukraine that were not bombarded by the Russians.
Also on Monday, the Kharkov region was bombed again. At least three people, two men and a woman, were killed in the village of Bezruky near Dergachi, the newspaper “Ukrainska Pravda” reported.
Also, according to the publication, the attacks affected an important gas pipeline, and the action disrupted supplies to some local cities.
