His 2021 video continues to be one of the most viewed on different platforms and social networks in this regard animal behaviors. In October of that year, in that forest, Martínez decided to leave the camera on to record in a wooded area that seemed ideal for the passage of wild animals.

He was in a clearing among the trees, where he observed some small caves in the ground. And in that place there was a memorable meeting between a bobcat and a rattlesnake.

That typical Southern California-dwelling feline knows how to hunt rattlesnakes, but something always works against him: they are not immune to snake venom. How did you do it then?

In the sequence we see how the wild cat managed to perfect his fighting technique. As he walks through the woods, a noise draws his attention to him.

He approaches some bushes and at that moment the rattlesnake is heard, which surprises him. Suddenly they get involved in a fight to the death in which it is seen how the cat uses his lethal method.

with extraordinary skill slap and slap the reptileas he dodges the relentless attacks he receives with lightning speed.

Finally, the turning point comes when the cat manages, in one of those attacks, with the snake already tired from the slaps, to sink its claws into its enemy’s head and in less than a fraction of a second it draws him to itself, body and bites her behind the eyes. The fight stops and the snake dies.

The finish is very feline: it takes its dead prey a few meters from the “ring”, hides it and return to the battle arena to splash around right there, as if celebrating their victory in situ.
