“65”: the new premiere of Sam Raimi that leaves Adam Driver trapped in prehistory

Sony images premiered a new production this Thursday, a bet related to science fiction. It’s about “65“, which brings together the famous director Sam Raimi (the “Spider-Man” trilogy) and award-winning actor Adam Driver.

Although its role as Kylo Ren in the saga of “Star WarsNow that that’s over, Driver’s future in sci-fi and space travel films looks far from over.

What is “65” about?

The plot follows an astronaut who malfunctions in his ship and crashes on planet Earth, just 65 million years before our time. Directors are ScottBeck AND Bryan Woods, authors of the horror film “The Haunt”. The estimated duration of the film is instead of one hour and 33 minutes, taking into account the end credits.

The critics have not been very generous with Raimi’s latest production. On IMDb, a site specializing in films, it had an average score of 5.7 out of nearly 6,000 reviews; medium Rotten Tomatoes, however, gave it a 63% approval rating from audiences and 37% from page critics. Likewise, this can change as the days go by, since he’s only been on the bill for one day.
