A woman was attacked by a pet monkey in Oklahoma and suffered a severe cut to her ear. The primate, which was completely out of control, he’s been killed.
It all ended in the most dramatic way possible. The desperate incident occurred shortly after 6 p.m. Sunday, CBS News reported, and involved Dickson police.
The animal appeared in front of the house of Brittany Parker and attacked her mercilessly.
“He broke my ear in half”
“He ran onto my back and jumped on top of my head, yanking my hair out and then ripping my ear in half like it was a piece of paper.Parker explained to the police.
When officers arrived at the scene, they called for help. Oklahoma Department of Wildlife to try to resolve the situation together.
However, the moment the detectives got out of the patrol car, the monkey jumped onto the trunk of the vehicle and headed back in Parker’s direction before escaping into a nearby wood.
The pet’s owners and the police tried looking for it, but couldn’t find it until they found out it was a friend of Parker’s had shot him dead.
Police said the victim’s relative killed the monkey after it attacked her. “We called him and he came here, and after they attacked me, the monkey went to his vehicle and slapped him and pulled his hair.Parker recounted.

The woman was transported to Mercy Hospital in Ardmore and then to OU Health University of Oklahoma Medical Center for treatment of her injuries. Finally she was discharged early Monday morning with bruises and a stitched ear.
The monkey’s body is being analyzed at the Oklahoma Disease Laboratory, Dickson police said as the investigation continues.
CBS News reported it Oklahoma law treats primates as pets, so it is legal to keep them as pets. Of course: the law establishes that it is a punishable offense not to keep them properly locked up.
