What is optic neuritis
Inflammatory optic neuritis is the most common cause of acute vision loss in young adults. Also known as retrobulbar neuritis, it is one of the most common diseases affecting the nerve responsible for transmitting visual information from the eye to the brain.
Although optic neuritis has its symptoms, its very appearance can be the main symptom of multiple sclerosis.
