According to Indian local media NDTV and India Today on the 22nd (local time), an accident occurred when a simple amusement ride installed by a local group in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, crashed. The ride was operated by connecting a machine to a cable and repeating its rise and fall, but the cable was cut.
The accident occurred around 6:15 in the evening. The ride, which had reached its highest height at the time, crashed to the floor with a roar. Video footage of the accident recorded the sounds of children moaning and parents screaming.
The injured were transported to the nearby JLN hospital by local police and paramedics who were dispatched immediately after the accident.
