King Charles III and his wife Queen Camilla had chosen France as their first state visit, when the country is in a state of rebellion due to protests.

They would have arrived on Sunday and the French government was showing concern for the safety of their travels and especially for a trip by TGV to Bordeaux, another city in turmoil.

The streets where garbage is piled up awaited the king. He had planned to sleep at the British embassy, ​​next to the Elysée.

He also planned to travel in swe 40 servants and administrative staff. With him there would also be a group of the British security forces, although it is not known if they would carry weapons.

The visit also included a state dinner for the King and Queen consort Camilla in the Palace of Versailles. Just when France is preparing to opt for a general strike to force the government to negotiate, to hold a referendum or to withdraw the pension project that raises the retirement age to 64 years.
