The video shows a group of policemen as they enter the school shouting “Subway Police” checking room by room on the first floor. They warn each other that he is probably “upstairs”.

The camera then cuts to one of the officers walking up the stairs, where shots begin to be heard. Hale confronts the officers and ends up fatally shot on the floor in some sort of hallway, lying on the floor next to a window. “Suspicious shot,” the officer says, breathing heavily, his camera still rolling.

During the entire shot, no school staff or students who had already been evacuated are seen. When the police arrive at the Nashville Covenant School, the emergency alarm sounds.
