Porn actress and director Stormy Daniels (44), who provided the opportunity for a former US president to be prosecuted for the first time in history, expressed his feelings about the prosecution of former President Donald Trump as a ‘monumental indictment’.
Daniels said in an interview with the British daily ‘The Times’ on the 31st (local time) that former President Trump’s prosecution was “monumental, epic and proud.”
He also said, “Trump is no longer untouchable,” and “justice has been served.”
Daniels went on to claim that he should have been removed sooner because he had done much worse.
He also added that he was ready to face former President Trump in court.
However, Daniels also revealed a cautious stance on the prosecution.
“This indictment continues to divide and arm people,” he said. “Whatever the outcome (of this indictment), this will cause violence and there will be injuries and deaths.” He added, “A lot of good things may happen (with this prosecution), but bad things will also happen.”
In fact, Daniels began receiving violent threats on social media, emails and phone calls after news broke that the Manhattan grand jury had decided to indict former President Trump.
U.S. law enforcement agencies are preparing for the aftermath, including massive protests by former President Trump’s rabid supporters.
On the other hand, orders for products and autographs named after Daniels are reportedly flooding in.
A New York grand jury decided to indict former President Trump on the 30th of last month (local time). Daniels’ 2016 payment of $130,000 for silence from Michael Cohen, former President Trump’s personal lawyer, is related to the indictment against Trump.
She alleged that she had an affair with Trump in 2006, and Cohen paid Daniels $130,000 for non-disclosure just before the 2016 election.
