Donald Trump before Justice: a controversial deputy tried to defend him, but had to flee

Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene tried to lead a rally for Donald Trump outside the New York courthouse where he is due to appear, but it lasted only a minute before she the intensity of the protests forced her to flee local.

Armed with a megaphone amid widespread chaos and deafening screams, Taylor Greene tried unsuccessfully to speak to the former president’s supporters at the scene, who had been summoned by a handful of figures close to Trump, and at least one Party-affiliated named republican. Young Republican Club of New York (The New York Republican Youth Club.

“This has never happened in the United States e all Americans should be concernedGreene said, referring to the fact that Trump was the first former president to be impeached.

Around her, the screams of those protesting against Trump only seemed to escalate, and at one point the woman stopped speaking and, assisted by her security team, fled.

“Get out of here and go back to Georgia, Here in New York we don’t speak MAGA“, snapped one of the protesters.

Taylor Greene’s appearance at a pro-Trump event is no coincidence. Since her arrival as Georgia State Representative in the House of Representatives in 2020, Taylor Greene has dedicated herself to passionately defending the former president’s actions.

She has been stripped of her seat on congressional committees since his refusal to condemn the death threats spoken out against Democratic politicians on social media.

Those charges were returned to him in 2022., when the Republicans took control of the chamber. Since then, Taylor Greene has become a close ally of that body’s president, Kevin McCarthy.

At an event in Texas two weeks ago, Trump said Greene should run for Senate from Georgia. According to Trump adviser Steve Bannon, too is on his list of vice presidential candidates should Trump win the Republican nomination next year.
