Prime Minister Han Deok-soo met with Vice President Raquel Peña of the Dominican Republic at the Government Complex Seoul on the morning of the 6th and exchanged views on strengthening cooperation between Korea and the Dominican Republic. Prime Minister Han asked for cooperation so that Korean companies with excellent technology and experience can actively participate in large-scale national projects promoted by the Dominican Republic government, such as the construction of a new airport in Pedernales and energy and infrastructure.
