Anna and Lucy DeCinque they look almost exactly alike but have a bond that goes far beyond shared physical characteristics. The most identical Australian twins also share a boy and their mother wants them both to get pregnant at the same time. According to the New York Post, she wants her daughters to give birth at the same time.
Sisters Anna and Lucy are 35 and live in Perth. They were interviewed by ITV’s ‘This Morning’ to talk about their daily lives as they do everything together. In fact, they have their own show on Australian television where they showcase their lifestyle.
Ben Byrne is the man who made the sisters fall in love. “We had estranged boyfriends in the past, but Ben accepts us for who we are,” Anna explained. And they were proud of the relationship the three have.
Lucy continued: “If he kisses Anna, he will immediately kiss me too.” Speaking of the twins’ plans to have children at the same time, Anna added, “We’ll grow old together and die together.”
“We’ll freeze our eggs at the same time, it’s going to be a challenge but we just want to be the same. It might be obsessive, but that’s how we want to live our lives.” Ben, who works as a mechanic, lives with his sisters and their mother. Although they wish to marry, Australian law does not allow it.
The twins are known to be the most identical in the world, yet they both underwent various surgeries and invested nearly $300,000 to look exactly the same. Though they were non-identical twins, the obsession led them to achieve their goal.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, they revealed that they won the title of most identical twins in the world in a competition in Japan. The challenge that ensured their victory was facial recognition software.
When asked if there might be some sort of jealousy, they were emphatic in their denial. However, they also acknowledged that they are aware that getting pregnant at the same time is something they can’t control.
Their desire is to experience their pregnancies together and take care of their children in the same way, even if they don’t expect the children to be identical, they simply want them to be “happy”.
