Violence in the United States: at least 5 dead after a shooting in a Louisville bank

Kentucky police said a Louisville bank shooting left a balance of at least 5 dead and 6 injured. According to official sources, the assassin, who clashed with the police and exchanged blows with the troops, is said to have died.

The police confirmed this one officer is among the woundeds, but did not specify whether the attackers were among the victims. He also noted the circumstances under which the shooter

Many witnesses who managed to exit the building told local television WHAS-TV that they heard gunfire inside the building. v

Several police vehicles were seen on television images after the incident began, around 8:30 am local time (9:30 am Argentina time).

Network reporters present at the scene said they saw people who were taken from the place by ambulance.

In a tweet, Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear said he was on his way to the spot.

“Please, pray for all affected families and the city of LouisvilleBeshear said. The FBI said its agents were also responding to the shooting.

The shooting occurred in a building on East Main Street that houses the Old National Bank, not far from the Louisville Slugger Field baseball field and Waterfront Park.
