Local authorities announced that at least nine civilians were killed in bombings by the Russian army in eastern and southern Ukraine on Tuesday, 26th.
Sergiy Gaidai, governor of the Lugansk region (east), said three civilians were killed in the debris of a bombed building in the city of Popasna.
“They were shielding themselves from Russian missiles in a basement and the building was hit,” he said.
The regional governor, Oleg Synegubov, announced that three people were killed and seven injured in the bomb attack that took place in the second city of Ukraine, Kharkiv (east), and two of them were in critical condition.
“We ask residents to be very careful and stay out of the shelters as much as possible,” he said.
Governor Pavlo Kyrylenko said two civilians were killed and seven injured in the Donetsk region.
“Russian troops carried out aerial bombardment in Avdivka. The central hospital, a school and residential buildings were hit,” he said.
In the south, in Zaporizhzhia, the bombings left at least one dead and one wounded, according to the regional government.
