What does Z mean?
Why did the Final Cut production change the name of the film because it has the letter Z? As we mentioned, everything goes back to February 24, the date on which the war between Russia and Ukraine began.

From then until now, a sign that many compare to the swastika stands out costumes and uniforms of pro-Russian politicians, activists, military and even athletes. In addition to the country flag, they have a Z-shaped insignia.
Z is the new symbol of Russia’s attack. It is noteworthy that the letter, which was also written on tanks and warships in Ukraine, it is not in the Cyrillic alphabet of the territory ruled by Vladimir Putin.
After many wondered what Z meant, the Kremlin explained that the letter referred to the idea of “denazification”, the argument Moscow used to justify its attack on Ukraine.

However, before the Russian government spoke, it is believed that the Z was used to let the Russian military distinguish between them. This can also be explained by considering that there are Russian tanks with the letters “O” and “V”.
