The Supreme Court expects to hear this petition next Monday, which stems from security lapses raised after the former Indian MP and his brother died while being accompanied by a police squad.

The three attackers managed to get close to the Ahmed brothers posing as journalistsdespite being in police custody, opening fire and shooting for several seconds without being arrested.

Why were the brothers taken to the medical center at night? if it wasn’t an emergency? Why did the press wait? Because the police vehicle carrying the brothers was parked some distance from downtown, forcing them to walk and meet the media?, are some of the questions that arose after the double murder.

THE The perpetrators of the attack were arrested on the spot and, according to the police, they confessed during questioning that they had committed the crime with the intention of become famousaccording to a police report.

The group’s leader was inspired by interviews and videos of Indian gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who was jailed for various crimes, including murder, according to interrogation sources cited by Indian news channel NDTV.

Earlier, in statements to regional media, the former politician had denounced alleged plans to assassinate him in a simulated clash.

Four days earlier, a 19-year-old son of former politician Asad, accused together with his father of murder, was killed in a clash with Uttar Pradesh security forces.

Although the former politician, involved in a hundred investigations, was in a prison in the state of Gujarat, in the west of the country, he had recently been transferred to Prayagraj, in Uttar Pradesh, to attend a hearing on one of the criminal proceedings against him.
