Since the early 1990s, Samsung has been steadily supporting war veterans and their families. In 1996, he donated 5 million dollars to the American Veterans Association and provided scholarships to the descendants of Korean War veterans, built a memorial park, and supported medical services.

Each affiliate of LG continues to support Korean War veterans, independence activists and their descendants. In August of last year, LG Electronics donated ‘LG Dios dishwashers’ to the descendants of independence fighters in commemoration of Liberation Day, and LG U+ also donated 50 million won.
