A hotel bellhop became a millionaire after a guest left him a $250,000 ‘tip’

A British millionaire tourist who left his fortune to a Turkish hotel bellhop considered him the son he never had.

Charles George Courtney of Hastings gave Taskin Dasdan an undisclosed sum, believed to be around $250,000, following his death at age 87 in July 2021.

Charles became friends with Taskin after staying annually at the Korumar Hotel De Luxe in the Kusadasi district of Aydin.
