BTS member Suga appeared on the popular American talk show ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ (hereinafter referred to as ‘Jimmy Fallon Show’) and showed off his witty words. Suga unveiled the performance of the title song of his solo album, ‘Haegeum’, for the first time on the air today.

On the 1st (local time), Suga appeared as a solo guest on the US NBC program ‘Jimmy Fallon Show’. Regarding the solo album ‘D-DAY’, released under the stage name ‘Agust D’, which reached No. 2 on the US Billboard 200, he said, “I couldn’t do it because I was busy with the world tour. I’m watching it, but I’m satisfied that many ARMYs (fans) like it.” Next, he said about his impressions of holding the world tour, “It’s fun to see the audience, and I’m just waiting for the day to perform.”

When Jimmy Fallon asked, “I read somewhere, I heard that Suga worked as a food delivery man before he became famous, is that true?” Embarrassed Jimmy Fallon said, “Good? What did you do well?” he stuttered, and Suga said succinctly, “You did a good job driving.” When Jimmy Fallon said, “So you’ve become the current Suga, congratulations,” Suga clenched his fists as the audience clapped.

When asked about the ensuing NBA ambassador (public relations ambassador) questions, the meaning of the stage name “Agust D,” and the meaning of the title song “Haegeum,” Suga continued to answer in a relaxed manner. He played Haegeum, an instrument prepared by Jimmy Fallon, and shared a glass of whiskey with Jimmy Fallon before performing.

On this day, Suga performed the ‘Haegeum’ stage to the accompaniment of the live band. Large LEDs with graphic images were installed on the stage set to maximize the magnificence of the performance. The LED screen slowly changed from an abstract line that visualized the sound of the haegeum to a landscape painting, and in the second half of the song, the sound of the haegeum was expressed as a laser that turned on and off in turn, drawing attention.

Meanwhile, Suga successfully completed performances in Belmont Park, New York, on the 26th and 27th of last month, and Newark, New Jersey, on the 29th. The US tour will continue in Auckland on the 17th.
