It is a fact that Chilean actor Pedro Pascal will participate in the Gladiator sequel that director Ridley Scott will present, hopefully, at the end of 2024. Of course, the date will depend on what happens after the writers’ strike that it’s happening in Hollywood right now.

Pascal is having the best moment of his career. He comes from acting in the series The Last of Us AND The Mandalorian and in the coming months he will join the superstar cast of Gladiator 2 led by Mescal, Barry Keoghan, Joseph Quinn, Connie Nielsen AND Denzel Washington.
There is no word yet on what role he will play in the film, but it is believed that his character will be important in the storyline.
Russell Crowe, the protagonist of Gladiator, has already confirmed that he will not be in the sequel. Furthermore, the Australian actor was the only one to reveal some information about the new story.
“I know how Ridley Scott shaped history. Remember that young man who wanted to sell Gladiator? Which leads to the ‘My name is…’ speech. That boy is all grown up and now he’s the Emperor. there, but that’s the idea,” Crowe said when asked about it.
Gladiator 2 is already one of the films that generates the most anticipation in Hollywood for 2024. The original as we know it was an irrefutable success in 2000 and 2001: it won the Oscar for best film and also took 4 other statuettes .
