Republican militants, protesting with placards saying “not my king” or “parasitic king”, were arrested during the ceremony and later, the police should have apologised. Monday night he sent a commissioner to the prison house, with two policemen, to find their excuses and return their posters.

It was one of the scandals of the ceremony because the right to demonstrate it is sacred in the realm.

King Carlos III and the new Queen Camila left for Sandringham Palace to recover of the three days of coronation festivities. The royal agenda of the other members of the monarchy Subtle starts.

“Rebranding”, an urgency

Medieval and pompous royal ceremonies in London left an urgency: the rebranding of the House of Windsor.

A urgent modernization institutional, a change in an outdated ceremony and a new mission of the king, to replace the lost mystery and stoicism of the 70-year reign of Elizabeth II, if they do not want to be confined to unpopularity, inconsequence and the pages of the magazine HI.

With the medieval uniforms, the gilding of the carriages, the feisty and magnificent horses not enough.

With a 74-year-old king there will be no big birthdays, no jubilees, no weddings, no christenings to celebrate.

The weight of novelty It will fall on the princes of Wales, William and Kate and their three boys, George, Charlotte and Louis, who upon the Sussexes’ departure suddenly and unexpectedly entered royal service, to try to delight their subjects.

William and Kate will have a great responsibility before the Royal Household. It is the young people who will have to travel farto replace two old kings and they will not be able to maintain this public strife between brothers, who are the sons of the king.

William will have to reconcile with Harry and perhaps it is Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales, who makes it possible.

It will be the evolution from prince to royal heir to statesman, without childishness or obstinacy. Although this does not mean that Harry and Meghan, the Dukes of Sussex, actively return to the House of Windsor, but that they stop seeing them as enemies.

harry is fed up how they treat him when he returns to London. Those who know him believe this weekend was his last concession to his father. He can be an uncomfortable witness after so many humiliations.

The problem of the former colonies

The Commonwealth will be the next big problem to deal with. The British Isles of the Caribbean want, one by one, to abandon Carlos III as head of state and become republics. The queen is no more. The new empire died with her.

Since their visit in 2022, William and Kate have never returned to the Caribbean, after facing the Bahamas “demand to formal apology from the royal family for their crimes against humanity”. That is, the slave trade and its advantages.

Until they find a strategy to solve this problem with their colonies, the royal family will have enormous difficulty making their visits abroad.

The role of the monarchy in this modern world requires careful planning and a new model of approach to population.

These “retro” and “vintage” tours, with Kate, Princess of Wales, dressed as a 1940s Vogue model reminiscent of Queen Elizabeth II, They have finished. They just irritate or cause laughter.

The problems for the royals to solve are how to deal with slavery and indigenous issues on their travels to the former colonies.

Especially when the kingdom doesn’t want to pay compensation, as Prime Minister Boris Johnson warned King Charles, in a major incident between the two. Certainly there must be institutional changes of the role of the monarchy, in a kingdom with an unwritten constitution.

To serve and not be served, the new mission

In a personal written message to the nation released on Monday, Her Majesty and the Queen pledged to do so resume public service, at the end of three days of celebrations. To serve and not to serve.

The King said: “As the coronation weekend draws to a close, my wife and I just wanted to share our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has helped make this occasion so special.”

With the message, the new portraits of the rulers were distributed: Carlos, overwhelmed not only by the weight of the crown and the new queen smiling because he would never have imagined it. Like in a Walt Disney movie, where the bad guys win

The king was captured in the official portrait with all its sophistication: Wearing the Imperial State Crown, holding orb and sceptre with cross, and wearing his royal purple robes and robe of state, seated in a throne chair in the throne room at Buckingham Palace.

Camilla was photographed alongside the King, and also in a solo portrait, wearing Queen Mary’s crownwith the train of her long embroidered gown spread before her.

Also pictured alongside the King and Queen were the hardworking royal family, the Prince and Princess of Wales, the Edinburghs, the Princess Royal and Vice-Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, the Duke of Kent, the Gloucesters and Princess Alexandra. by Hugo Burnand.

But two were missing from those photos for posterity: Prince Andrew, banished from the Epstein case, and Prince Harry, the king’s son and self-exiled to California.

The same thing happened in the greeting on the balcony, with only the presence of the Royal Working Family. But there were “infiltrators”. They were the Middleton family and Mrs. Elliot, Camilla’s sister An arbitrariness that will infuriate the “forbidden”.

Harry at Buckingham Palace

It was after he had left the abbey and been demoted to the third tier of the non-working royal family. He hasn’t seen his father or brotherwho didn’t even speak to him during the ceremony.

He went to the bathroom and left for Heathrow airport.in jacket and medals, to catch a plane in time for his son Archie’s birthday in Montecito, who was not invited to the festivities.

Harry’s decision to attend the coronation pleased the King, who she hoped to have her two children at the ceremony.

While the Prince of Wales had a formal role in the proceedings, the Duke, who may also have been seen paying his respects in other circumstances, was a member of the congregation.

But this Tuesday starts in Britain Harry’s trial against The Mirror tabloid for listening to her phone and violating her privacy.

One of three processes which he has pending, which includes The Sun and The Daily Mail. He will have his statement in court in June. It will be extremely embarrassing for the king and queen because Harry they will say they leaked their privates to publicly rehabilitate Camila and manage to make her sovereign, after having been her father’s lover all her life.

In 2019 Carlos asked him to stop the trial. Harry refused.

Harry, 38, was selected as a “test case” in the Mirror Group Newspapers (MGN) trial over hacking allegations, alongside actors Michael Turner and Nikki Sanderson, as well as Fiona Wightman, the ex-wife of comedian Paul Whitehouse .

The duke’s claim entails 25 private detectives and 33 news articlespublished between 1996 and 2010. Harry is expected to testify in early June, a preliminary hearing was reported on Monday.
