“After the attack, Stacey suffered from severe depression and anxiety. She also repeatedly had pneumonia from the dirt she swallowed when she was buried alive,” doctors explained in the bodybuilder’s trial.
The victim suffered a lung infection and self-medicated. TO Stacey was found dead in her bed the day after contacting her doctors about the illness. and toxicology reports found a number of sedatives in her system that had been prescribed to her.
The official cause of Stacey’s death was bronchopneumonia with combined drug toxicity. “There is no evidence that she intended to commit suicide,” the medical report explained.
