Social networks are that sounding board, sometimes putrid, where everything, absolutely everything, it is discussed vehemently and, of course, also basely. Not even the most serious and respectable arguments manage to stand out amid so much bitterness.
Now, the hot topic has triggered it a letter which a vegan woman sent to her neighbor, obviously at least carnivorous, by the smell that your food gives off which is, according to the woman, “disgusting”.
The unique neighborhood dispute took place in the northern suburbs of Perth, in Australia. But it has reached the national level when the recipient posted photos of the controversial letter on his Facebook profile. Then the “magic” of the internet did the rest.
In the letter, as we read, the woman asks her neighbor to do it close the window when cooking your “disgusting” meat. .
Annoying neighbor watches him “PLEASE TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY” ewritten on the front of the envelope containing the application.
The letter is sent to Hey Perth and begins like this: “Hello neighbor, could you please close the side window when you cook?” “my family is veganwe eat only foods of plant origin, and the smell of the meat you cook makes us feel sick and distraught.”
“We would appreciate your understanding, Thank you. Sarah, Wayne and the kids,” concludes the unusual letter.
The letter spawnedor thousands of user reactions on Facebook, mainly stunned by what they have read.
“I bet your mouth is watering when your old friend mows the lawn and smells that deliciously freshly cut grass,” said the popular wit at once.
“I am offended by the smell of cabbage that is always cooking”wrote another.
Others said it was time to make their BBQ stand out despite the menu. “Oh man… I’d fire up the barbecue and inviting all the neighborssaid one.
“I’d light up the smoker and make a 12-hour brisket, with a sausage sizzle for lunch, headlined a lot,” capped another.
Also, of course, some users supported the woman’s position. “Killing animals to eat them is barbaricS. If you’re going to do this, at least have the decency not to sully everything with your cannibalism,” wrote one.
And another wrote: “It should be banned that someone can cook meat if there are vegan people around”.
And you. which side are you on?
