The trial between Depp and Heard

Depp and Heard squared off in a media duel with little to no precedent in April last year. Both talked about strong incidents related to their private life and showed shocking materials from the time they lived together.

The two actors, it is worth mentioning, started their relationship in 2012, got married in 2015 and reached a divorce settlement a year later, which ended in 2017.

After several days of witness statements and sample evidence, the jury ruled that the actress should pay her $10.35 million formerly and $2 million on Heard’s counterclaim.

The lawsuit had initially been for $50 million in compensation for financial losses, while the countersuit, which had to do, among other things, with an alleged smear campaign that Johnny allegedly waged against Amber, for 100.
