Who is Walker “The Mutant”?
In the last Mister Olympia (the most prestigious competition in the world which saw Arnold Schwarzenegger win twice), Walker, 29, took third place and made it clear that he is one of the current figures in bodybuilding.
“The Mutant” was born in Pine Hill, New Jersey (United States) and had a difficult childhood: he was sexually abused and had a period of addiction to drugs and alcohol.
He began practicing bodybuilding at the age of 14, in the mid-2000s, entering the circuit of the National Physique Committee, the largest amateur bodybuilding organization in the United States.
His first big amateur success came in 2014 when he finished second at the Teen Nationals in the heavyweight class.
“The mutant”‘s entry into the pro world occurred in 2020. A year later, Walker would go on to win the New York Pro Championship and land a spot in the Mister Olympia.
