A shocking denunciation of what allegedly goes on inside Jehovah’s Witnesses has gone viral on social networks, from a testimony of a young Spanish woman who decided to tell her experience when she left the Congregation.
The video, uploaded in March, has gone viral again in recent days.
Sorayis Narez was a part of this Christian denomination until he was 25 when he decided to leave. That day, according to his complaint, he realized the terrible treatment he would receive and which would lead to her losing her family.
Through two videos on his Twitter account, Narez explained that he was a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses until the age of 25, when he decided to step aside. Even though I knew it was a pretty tough decision she was highly critical of “her expulsion”.
Jehovah’s Witnesses are a religious group born in the United States in 1870. They meet in buildings they call the “kingdom hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses” and promote doctrines other than the biblical teaching about the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, among others.
Its founder was Charles Taze Russell, born and died in the United States (1852-1916). Russell began studying the scriptures at the age of 18 and ended up stating that the Bible could only be understood according to the particular interpretations he proposed. Furthermore, he had difficulty accepting the biblical doctrines of eternal hell and the divinity of Christ, among other things.
The woman said that once no one was expelled from the environment, not even the family could speak to him again.
“I was going to make jokes about it, which is what I always do, but given the latest news, I am going to have a serious talk about what goes on inside Jehovah’s Witnesses,” the young woman began to explain seriously in the video.
As Soraya recalled in the recording, she has been a Jehovah’s Witness all her life: “It’s a very tough decision due to the expulsion, a few days ago I found out that the Jehovah’s Witnesses in Spain have denounced the Association of Victims of Witnesses of Jehovah and I had to endure how right now they are trying to change their version and say that some unfortunate cases cannot be used to generalize behavior within a religion”.
“It’s very hard to remember the day they made the announcement in the congregation, saying ‘Soraya has ceased to be a Jehovah’s Witness’ and knowing that no one around you will be able to talk to you and you will lose your relationship with your family in so now say it’s something voluntary,” he said.
And he added: “I got my life back, I got my freedom back, it cost me a lot.”
But Soraya then shared another video: “I will find ways to be in touch with you and we can unite because there are things that need to be reported and I think if we unite, we will be able to do that, “he specified.
“Tell them the world isn’t as bad as they’re led to believe, there are very good people and people who will help them. The Jehovah’s Witnesses you see on the street are good people, they believe they are doing good, but they don’t realize that the organization is using them”, concluded.
What happens in Argentina
In April, a group of relatives and people who identify as “Jehovah’s Witness survivors” held a rally at the Obelisk as part of an international initiative seeking to expose both financial fraud claims and cover-ups. of sexual abuse, in the context of this religion practiced by about 8 million people worldwide.
The demonstrators, who also spoke out in Spain and Mexico, say that from the organization “Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania”, based in the United States, cases of sexual abuse, pedophilia and other crimes committed by shepherds are systematically covered up of the different congregations under the pretext that religion is not discredited.
