The embassy is currently accepting applications for aircraft passengers by email ([email protected]). The application form can be found on the embassy website (https://overseas.mofa.go.kr/il-ko/index.do).

The embassy added, “Korean citizens who wish to board the aircraft are requested to promptly submit a copy of their passport to the embassy email,” adding, “There are safety concerns, so we especially ask you not to expose it to the outside world.”

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, there are approximately 720 Korean citizens currently residing in Israel. There are about 540 long-term residents and 180 short-term residents such as tourists. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that all residents were confirmed to be safe. There were 1,050 people when the conflict broke out, but 330 people left Israel afterward.
