Bloomberg News reported on the 27th (local time) that Iran indicated its participation in the war, warning that a new front would be formed if Israel continued its attacks on the Ghazi region.

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian warned in an interview with Bloomberg TV that day, “If the United States continues its clear support for Israel, a new front will be formed against the United States.”

He added, “If the Israeli government of Benjamin Netanyahu continues its all-out attack on the Gaza Strip, it will regret its actions.”

Bloomberg assessed that his remarks suggest the possibility that the Israel-Hamas war could spread throughout the Middle East.

In particular, his remarks came immediately after the United States carried out airstrikes in Syria. Following a series of recent attacks on U.S. military bases in Iraq and Syria, the United States launched airstrikes against Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Syria under the direction of President Joe Biden.

According to Bloomberg, two U.S. military F-16 fighter jets carried out an airstrike on the weapons and ammunition depots used by the IRGC and related organizations near Abqamar, eastern Syria, close to the Iraqi border, at around 4:30 a.m. on the 27th.

In this situation, Iran’s foreign minister hinted at participating in the war.

He denied recent claims that Iran had instructed militant groups in Syria and Iraq to target American troops, adding, “Israel’s continued bombing of the Gaza Strip has killed more than 7,000 people,” adding, “It is fueling the violence.” “It’s Washington, not Tehran,” he claimed.

He also criticized, “The United States is urging others to show restraint, but it is unilaterally taking Israel’s side.”

In particular, he said, “The situation is getting out of control, with the deaths of women and children in the Gaza Strip due to Israeli airstrikes,” and “The United States must make a decision. He also made an ultimatum statement, saying, “Do you really want the war to expand?”

He is leading Iran’s UN mission to New York and was interviewed by Bloomberg TV during this time, Bloomberg said.
