Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics’ TVs, washing machines, and kitchen appliances were selected as ‘Products of the Year’ by the American consumer magazine Consumer Reports.
According to the industry on the 30th, Consumer Reports recently evaluated Samsung Electronics’ Bespoke Jet AI as the best cordless stick vacuum cleaner. Bespoke Jet AI ranked first in the cordless stick vacuum cleaner category with 81 points. It was the only domestic company product to be ranked in the top 10.
This product received perfect scores in four out of six items, including ▲ floor cleaning ▲ carpet cleaning ▲ noise ▲ edge cleaning ▲ pet hair removal ▲ dust emission, to evaluate suction power, which is the core function of a vacuum cleaner.
Consumer Reports highly evaluated the Bespoke Jet AI for its ultra-strong suction power of up to 280 watts (W).
LG Electronics ranked first in each category with a variety of products in home appliances, including TVs, such as ‘LG OLED Evo’.
LG OLED EVO was selected as the best TV in the ‘Best Technology of the Year’ category. Consumer Reports praised it, saying, “It is a special TV that shows excellent picture quality and vivid, colorful images,” and “It is the best TV with no weaknesses.”
Consumer Reports also selected two types of LG Electronics washing machines, the LG Electronics Drum Washing Machine and the Tongdori, as the best washing machines in the ‘Best Laundry, Cleaning, and Home’ category.
They also selected LG Electronics’ induction range as the ‘best cooking essential of the year’ and evaluated it as “an amazing product with fast heating and accurate control.”
Consumer Reports directly purchases products sold on the market and evaluates them based on rigorous test results. The evaluation includes brand trust and satisfaction surveyed among actual users, and is considered a standard that American consumers use when choosing a product.
